It’s time to tally the first quarter 2012 results to find the Top Performing Technician, Service Writer and Shop! (See the Top Performing Shops and Top Performing Service Writers.)
For the First Quarter of 2012 (the months of January, February and March), the Top Performing Technician was Tim of Real Pro Auto in Wyoming, MI. Congratulations!
Tim beat out tough competition from previous winner Donald of Harris Garage in Hayes, VA. Finishing in third place was Jim of Real Pro Auto in Wyoming, MI.
By winning the first quarter prize in 2012, Tim is a strong contender for the Top Performing Technician of 2012 prize…and will take home the top prize for the quarter — a pizza party for his shop, an embroidered RPM ToolKit shirt, a VISA gift certificate for $200 and a beautiful certificate of achievement to hang in his shop. The other technicians in the top three will receive professional certificates to hang in their shop.
The entire top five field was a tight race; fewer than 50 points separated first and fifth place:

In order to ensure an extremely fair contest for every service writer, participants have to meet a number of criteria and are ranked according to several factors, including Average Daily Billed Hours, Jobs Written per Repair Order, Technician Efficiency, and Average Hours Billed per Repair Order.
