Congratulations to the 2nd Quarter 2012 RPM ToolKit Top Shop Contest Winners

It’s time to announce the winners of the Top Shop, Top Service Writer and Top Technician contest for the second quarter of 2012!

As this quarter ran down, the numbers were extremely close yet again as multiple shops made a run for the top spot. After tallying the 2012 Second Quarter Top Shop, Service Writer and Technician winners, here are the results for 2012 Second Quarter RPM ToolKit Contest! (See the Top Performing Service Writers and Top Performing Technicians.)

For the Second Quarter of 2012, we’d like to congratulate Larry and the team at Motoring Specialists for being the top performing shop of the quarter!

Motoring Specialists from Vacaville, California beat out some heavy competition to take the top spot. Jumping from third to second this quarter is Donald Brown from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Rounding out the top three is Mufflers and More of Walled Lake, Michigan who improved from fifth place last quarter.

By winning the Second Quarterly prize of 2012, Motoring Specialists have been thrown into the mix of contenders for the Top Performing Shop of 2012. As winners, they will receive a pizza party for the entire shop, six embroidered RPM ToolKit shirts, three $100 VISA gift cards, six $50 gift cards, and a Certificate of Achievement to display in their shop. The other shops in the top 3 will also receive certificates.

To ensure a fair contest, participants have to meet a number of criteria and are ranked according to several factors including: Jobs Written per Repair Order, Parts Gross Profit Percentage, Labor Gross Profit Percentage, Total Gross Profit Percentage, Average Hours Billed per Technician, and Average Hours Billed per Repair Order
