ARE YOU A GENERAL PATTON OR A GHANDI? YOU NEED TO BE BOTH!

Have you seen the movie Patton?

If you have, you’ve seen what it means to wear one of the two masks of leadership.

After General Patton has done something outrageous to motivate his troops, one of his staff officers says to him, “You know General, sometimes the men don’t know when you’re acting.”

Patton responds: “It’s not important for them to know. It’s only important for me to know.”

Being a great leader doesn’t mean changing who you are. It just means convincing your team.

But you can’t be a drill sergeant all the time, just like you can’t always be a peace keeper. Which is why you need to use BOTH to be a great leader.

So, are you a General Patton or a Ghandi? Learn to wear BOTH masks!
